Hard Times Require Furious Dancing – the title of a book of poems by Alice Walker – suggests that even in times of hardship and sorrow, finding joy and resilience through dance and celebration is essential.

Carpe Chorro, a group of local women, has been hosting dance parties for over a decade. Invite your mom, daughter, friends, and neighbors and come move your body! The music will be DANCE music from across the decades and will be all about BAD ASS FEMALE EMPOWERMENT!
